Casper Energy’s history involves my antics since arriving in Fort McMurray, AB in 2008. The never ending desire to develop consistent Drilling and Blasting in the Oilsands. I started in Fort McMurray with GridIron Drilling Services learning the mining business and came back to Fort McMurray with Suncor in 2017 as their drilling contractor. Casper was originally known as Casper Oilfield a Water and Vac Truck company.
That did not last long as I felt the need to follow my passion and fulfill my legacy of being the only company that contracts out Drilling and Blasting Services and Hydraulic Attachments to mines in Fort McMurray. The vision would be to drill and blast at all the mines in Fort McMurray but Suncor seems to be the only consist user of those services so Casper is focused on providing the safest and most reliable customer service.
Thomas Crysdale
Equipment Sales Growth Expert
Thomas started his career with Casper in 2019 as a driller, over the years Thomas has tried his hat on with various different roles throughout the company including Drilling, welding, safety and now on to sales for our new Hydraulic attachment division.
Thomas is creative and enjoys finding ways to present advertisements in different ways. Thomas is keen on building lasting relationships with clients by realizing this has been our biggest key to success in the past and has now been pasted down to the next generation of Casper sales.
When Thomas isn’t on the golf course he tends to find himself waist deep in the middle of nowhere trying his luck for some of the native trout we are lucky enough to have lingering through rivers and streams in the surrounding areas. Thomas’s mission going forward with Casper is to strive for the growth of our new hydraulic decision and continue to build lasting relationships with our amazing customers.
Grace Crysdale

Grace Crysdale - the daughter of Jamie Crysdale - spent the last 6 years prior to graduating high school in Calgary Alberta gaining valuable experience in customer service, event management and building an online reputation in the Self betterment industry. She’s hosted numerous events in Calgary based on Health, Fitness and Mindset, traveled the world, worked as a fitness instructor and is now settling into employment under her family’s quickly expanding business. At her core Grace is dedicated to the betterment of the world, which is why the Recycling chapter of Casper Energy Group is so important. Grace’s hope is to see Casper Energy Group and the Recycling chapter create a positive impact in North America’s environment, industries and future.
